Elliot's First Word

Elliot said his first word tonight. I was changing him after he'd been lying in bed for awhile and he has this game where he takes his socks off while we're changing him. I don't know why he finds it so funny, probably because it's so hard to get him dressed and such and he knows he's screwing with us. Anyway, he took his sock off and started laughing and I said, in mock irritation, "Did you take your sock off?" and he laughed and made a sound like, "Sssssskkkkk," which sort of sounded like he was trying to say "sock." So I said, "Can you say 'sock?' It's a sock." And he said, "Ssssssssssock." V. Cute.
